Hi, and welcome to the academy designed
for teen witches. No previous knowledge or witchy ancestors are necessary and
if you are curious, interested or a committed young witch, you will find
information of great interest to you here.

This web site is as you may
have guessed from the heading and title all about witchcraft. Not the
fictional type you see in many books or on TV but the real thing.
The material we are covering is selected to be ideal
for the teen witch. If you have read on this before you may have come
across one or possibly two paths, but we are going to cover all the paths
we can, including the modern Wicca format and traditional witchcraft. |

| Lets jump straight in,
witchcraft has nothing to do with devil worship, harming animals or
people, or leading you to do anything that you do not want to.
Witchcraft means craft of the wise, and often those
within witchcraft refer to it as the craft. Its more than knowledge, wisdom
and of course magic, its a way of life, where each witch is supportive and
helps each other, and is tolerant of all other beliefs, and groups.
It is also a form of religion, but can be compatible
with both Pagan and Christian views, and particularly traditional groups
have both Christians and Pagans within them. |

So who is behind this site. Well you will see a lot of mentions of the Traditional Craft Association,
this is the organization most traditional witchcraft paths belong to, but
you will also see that there is a second site connected to this, whose
whole purpose is to help people to cooperate in creating this site.
This is achieved by using an advisory board that is
made up of both experienced witches from many paths and teen witches and
other young people who want to find out about witchcraft. You can join in
this if you want.
The views you will see here therefore cover many craft
traditions, and come from people of all ages, but presented in the ideal
way and level for you. |

| There are many other web
sites, paths, covens, projects, services that are provided for witches,
but rather than having to search them all out and sort out the good from
the imaginary, the material that you will want to see from adult material
that you will not at this time, or is just far more complicated and
involved then you want or need to get involved in. All you are going to
need you will find within this site. Later if you want, you can progress
to another site that is also run by similar arrangement but far more
complex, meant for an adult audience. |

We want to make learning
about witchcraft as well as life fun for you, so our approach is to present
you with segments, containing a range of material that you can cover
before moving on to the next. You may manage to do this in a week, a month
or some other time, this is entirely up to you.
The segment is similar to an on line magazine, in
which we give you the highlight tour, but each article within the magazine
format is linked to a more in-depth article, that allows you to get to find
out more. Each segment covers a range of material, as a magazine would,
and segments build upon what you have learnt before to expand and extend
your knowledge and skills.
A topic index allows you to find information that
you have covered already or to find information you are just busting to
find out. |
